The Lion's Breath


Imagine...you are holding your horses reins with one hand and a holding a cup of cofee in the other. Your rifle is hanging from a strap slung around your neck. A long knife is in it's sheath attached to your belt. You drain your cup and put it on the table. Glancing at the endless savanna surrounding the camp you wonder if you can reach the next camp, 20km away, in a day. David, your brother, comes to see you off as you mount your horse. As you ride along the rough path to the next camp you check the skies for signs of rain and find plenty.
